What is the TOEIC Bridge®?

The TOEIC Bridge ® is aimed at people whose first language is not English. It allows candidates at a beginner or intermediate level to be assessed on their ability to understand English, whether spoken or written.

This test is therefore ideal for:

  • People who use the English language on a daily basis

Unlike the TOEIC ® Listening & Reading or TOEIC ® Speaking & Writing which focus more on communication in a professional environment, the TOEIC Bridge ® It focuses on communicating in English in everyday life.

The TOEIC Bridge® tests

Listening comprehension

  • 50 questions divided into 4 parts
  • 25 minutes
  • 50 points

In this section, the candidate must answer questions based on different audios (statements, questions, short conversations, etc.)

This test is divided into 4 parts:

  • Part 1: Photos
  • Part 2: Questions and Answers
  • Part 3: Conversations
  • Part 4: Dialogues

Written comprehension

  • 50 questions divided into 3 parts
  • 35 minutes
  • Rated out of 50 points

In this section, the candidate has to read different documents and answer 50 questions based on the content of the documents.

This test is divided into 3 parts:

  • Part 5: Incomplete Sentences
  • Part 6: Incomplete Texts
  • Part 7: Reading Comprehension
