What level do we need to achieve in the TEF IRN?

When taking the TEF IRN and depending on your objective, a minimum score is required to pass the exam.

Preparation for the TEF

To date, the maximum score that can be obtained when passing the TEF IRN is 349, which corresponds to a B1 level acquired.

OFII Citizenship Course / Republican Integration Contract

For the OFII citizen course / Republican Integration Contract (CIR), level A1 is required.
TEF score = 100-199

Resident card

If your goal is to obtain a resident card, you will need to reach an A2 level.
TEF score = 200-299

French nationality

If your goal is to obtain French nationality, a B1 level is required.
TEF score = 300-349
