Tips to succeed in the TEF Québec (TEFAQ)
The key to success lies above all in good preparation: the more you train, the better you understand the instructions for each section and develop the right reflexes.
For reading comprehension and vocabulary, practise reading a wide variety of texts in French (articles, recipes, literary extracts) to read faster and broaden your vocabulary.
For listening comprehension, get your ear used to French with podcasts, videos and radio programmes. Also remember to proofread yourself in written expression.
On test day, read the instructions carefully: no draft paper is allowed, including in written expression. Take advantage of our free videos and the official mock tests.
