Tips to succeed in the DELF B1
To pass the DELF B1 and obtain at least 50/100, prepare in advance and make sure the B1 level matches your current level and your goal.
Work on all four skills: listen to podcasts and videos, read every day, write short texts and talk with native speakers (record yourself).
Read the instructions carefully: in listening comprehension, answer the simple questions first then adjust on the second listening; in reading comprehension, leave time to review.
In written production, organise your ideas on a draft; when speaking, stay confident, look at the examiner and use logical connectors.
Practise under real conditions with mock tests and analyse your mistakes to identify your areas for improvement.
