TEF grading and CEFR and NCLC level equivalences

Each TEF test is marked out of 699. The overall mark obtained is the average of the marks obtained in each of the tests, and the total score is therefore also out of 699.

Preparation for the TEF

Since the end of 2023, a new score grid has been put in place to clearly show the correspondence between the score obtained on a TEF test and the CEFR (European Framework of Reference for Languages) and NCLC (Canadian Language Benchmarks) levels.
