Presentation of the TEF written expression test
- The duration of the test is 60 minutes , without interruption, for both sections.
- You must necessarily deal with both subjects (sections A and B).
- You must answer in the spaces provided on the topics. If necessary, you can use the back of the topic pages.
- Drafts will not be considered; only the production noted on the test materials distributed will be corrected. However, you must return both rough sheets to the session leader at the end of the test (whether they have been used or not).
- You are warned 20 minutes, then 5 minutes before the end of the test.
The format of the TEF written expression tests
Exercise A – Complete the article
The exercise is presented in the form of a text of approximately 40 words. You must write the rest of the text in at least 80 words.
Exercise B – Write an argument
The exercise is presented in the form of a statement (one sentence). You must respond to the author to say what you think, developing at least three arguments.
