How to register for the TEF?
Who can register for the TEF ?
The TEF ( What is the TEF? ) is a test of knowledge of the French language. You must be at least 16 years old to take this test.
Registration with an approved center
Registration for the TEF is carried out from an approved examination center.
You will find an updated list of approved centers since the next page.
You must contact the approved center of your choice which will tell you what steps to follow.
How many events should I register for?
You choose how many events you wish to register for. For each application (e.g., TEF Canada or TEF Studies in France), certain tests are mandatory. For example, if your goal is the TEF Canada, then you must pass at least the comprehension tests (oral and written) and the expression tests (oral and written).
Once you have registered, you will receive a notice by post giving you the date and time of the test.
If you want to retake the TEF, you must wait at least two months.
