Can I retake the TOEFL?
Explanation of the conditions for retaking the TOEFL IBT or ITP
Can I retake the TOEFL?
The TOEFL IBT and ITP ( What is the TOEFL? ) are tests that assess your level of English. Having a good score or, at a minimum, a decent score is often necessary to enter English-speaking universities. Most schools require a minimum TOEFL score for admission for applicants whose native language is not English.
If you don't get the score you expected on your first attempt ( How is the TOEFL IBT score calculated? ), don't panic you can very well pass it again .
For the TOEFL IBT , you will just have to wait for a 12-day deadline to attend a session again. You will also have to pay the registration fee again ( How much does the TOEFL IBT cost? ). So it is always best to be well prepared for this test.
For the TOEFL ITP , as the test is administered by your own school, you will need to inquire about other scheduled dates.
If you choose not to take the test on the chosen date and prefer another date, you will need to unsubscribe at least 4 days before the test, otherwise you will have to pay the fee a second time.
