Assessment of different skills

The TAGE MAGE is open to candidates who may come from completely different backgrounds: literary, scientific, economic... Indeed, the particularity of this test is that it is not based on specific knowledge but rather on the general skills of the candidate. Any candidate, regardless of their initial training, can therefore stand out.

The test assesses:

  • Verbal skills
  • Problem-solving and data handling skills
  • Logical skills (inferential, deductive reasoning, etc.)

It is presented in the form of multiple-choice questions and is very easy to use. This test allows schools that use it to select candidates with diverse profiles, who have been able to demonstrate a good command of these three skills.

A test of value

The TAGE MAGE is one of the most widely used tests for admission to management and business schools. It is accepted by around fifty institutions in France and is also recognized in French-speaking countries such as Canada. Each year, more than 16,000 candidates take this test ( Why take the TAGE MAGE? ).

A demanding test

The TAGE MAGE, in addition to assessing your skills, also assesses your speed. The questions are questions of logic, calculation or mastery of French. You will have little time to answer each of them ( How long does the TAGE MAGE last? ) hence the need to be very well prepared. The TAGE MAGE is not a test that can be undertaken without having practiced well beforehand, at the risk of getting a poor score.
