What is the TOEFL ITP?

The TOEFL ITP is one of the existing TOEFL tests. It is a test that reliably assesses the English language skills of students whose native language is not English.

It is a multiple-choice test administered on paper at a higher education institution and is based solely on academic content. It is used in the case of an academic exchange abroad.

Skills assessed by TOEFL ITP :

The TOEFL ITP assesses the following three skill areas:

  • listening comprehension (Listening Comprehension) assesses the ability to understand spoken English as used in universities and higher education institutions
  • Structure and Written Expression assess the recognition of selected structural and grammatical points in standard written English
  • reading comprehension assesses the ability to read and understand academic texts in English.

The test lasts 115 minutes for 140 questions:
