The B2 First format
The tests
The First B2 is a test that lasts 3.5 hours, it is divided into 4 parts:
- Reading and Use of English: 1h15; 7 parts
- Writing: 1h20; 2 parts
- Listening: 40 mins; 4 parts
- Speaking: 14 min; 4 parts
On paper or on computer ?
You can take the test on paper or on a computer, there is no difference between the two.
Depending on the exam center, the Speaking section may take place on a different day from the other sections, which are taken on the same day.
