This TOEFL training book published by Eyrolles and designed by ETS (Educational Testing Service) is the official guide to prepare for the TOEFL. It was written by the creators of the TOEFL test and has the advantage of being very close to the exam questions. Beyond the exercises, its strength is to include explanatory notes on each of the TOEFL tests with the evaluation criteria. Very useful with regard to the Writing and the speaking . Tips and tricks are even offered throughout this impressive work.

When it comes to exercises and answers, this TOEFL preparation book offers paragraph-by-paragraph decryption and lengthy explanations to help you understand. However, this way of approaching the questions gives a biased image of how the questions will unfold in exam conditions and makes the book somewhat unreadable. We also regret its wordy tone, which adds to the heaviness of this book, which is over 600 pages long.

This work edited by Prepmyfuture in collaboration with Ellipse aims to be clear and concise, getting to the point. Its A4 format enhances its clarity and ease of reading. In the digital age, the 200% TOEFL IBT is the most modern of the preparation books for this test.

Although not the most comprehensive, this book has everything you need to prepare for the TOEFL IBT: 2 practice tests, a section of almost 100 pages on the methodology and strategy to adopt for each test, and rich vocabulary and grammar sheets.

The most complete: TOEFL preparation, Pearson

With its 5 CDs and 3 practice tests, this book of almost 500 pages offers you a series of exercises arranged by skill category to ensure slow but systematic progress.

You'll appreciate its clear answers, but be careful about the level of its exercises, which don't always reflect the real difficulty of the exam. So, with this book, you can make progress, yes, but perhaps not quickly enough.

In any case Pearson remains a benchmark in English teaching and everyone will find something for them.
