How to register for the TOEIC?

The TOEIC ( What is the TOEIC? ) is an almost obligatory step in the career path of most students. This certification serves as a common reference for assessing and comparing the language skills in business of people whose native language is not English.

There are two ways to take the TOEIC:

• Through your school. In most cases, the school takes care of registration.
• As an independent candidate. In that case, this article is for you!

Tutorial for registering for the TOEIC

This article is a tutorial to help you register for the TOEIC. Please note: PrepMyFuture is a TOEIC preparation platform and is not an online testing center.

The organization that manages registration and administration of the TOEIC is called ETS Global (Educational Testing Service).

• Step 1: Go to the ETS Global website
• Step 2: Click on “Order”
  
• Step 3: Click on “register”
  
• Step 4: Select a test
  

  This first page is a search engine allowing you to see, for the chosen test, the dates of passage in the nearest examination center.

  

  There are several TOEIC options available to you. You should choose the one required by your institution or employer.
  In most cases you have to pass the TOEIC Listening & Reading . This is the most recognized and the one to display on your CV.

• Step 5: Choosing the location and date of the TOEIC test

  

  For the date, you must select a time period during which you wish to take the TOEIC. The search engine will then suggest dates based on the location you selected.

  Please note: the dates are listed in the American version, i.e. Year/Month/Day!

• Step 6: Choosing the examination center

  After clicking on “Search”, you will be redirected to this page:

  

  You then select the test center that suits you best and click on “Register”.

• Step 7: Pricing and choice of options

  After clicking on “register” you will arrive on a page telling you:

  • Session information (TOEIC type, test date, test center, session number, and price)
  • Additional options
  • The discounts available to you

  Then simply click on “validate” at the bottom of the page to confirm your registration and proceed to payment.

• Step 8: Validation of registration

  After choosing your options and discounts (if available), simply click "Submit" and fill in the requested personal information. Your registration will be confirmed after payment.
