Formerly known as BULATS, Linguaskill is an English language test for people over 16 who wish to demonstrate their English language proficiency for personal, professional, or academic reasons. The Business version is specifically designed for professional situations.
Please note:
The test is administered and automatically corrected on a computer. It assesses the candidates' level across three modules.
Candidates can choose to take one test only, or to take them together.
Both versions (Business and General) have the same duration and a very similar format.

This section is adaptive: the number of questions varies depending on your answers and the time available.
This is the first part of the Linguaskill test, and there is no message indicating that you have moved from the first part of the test, "Listening," to the second, "Reading." Only the disappearance of the speaker icons on the screen will indicate that you have moved to another section.
You start with a B1 (intermediate) level question. This level will progress as you progress, either to higher-level exercises or, conversely, to lower levels.

Time should be distributed equally between the reading and listening sections. If you spend too much time answering the listening questions, you may run out of time for the reading section.
The difficulty is reset at the beginning of the exercise; your listening comprehension results do not affect the difficulty of the first question. The difficulty level of the first reading question is therefore the same for all candidates: B1 (intermediate level). This level will evolve according to your success, either towards exercises of an increasingly higher level or, conversely, towards lower levels.
